About Nimra Maqbool
I'm a student and tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, having started teaching kids while still in college. I hold a 95.9% in Matric and 90.89% in FSc from the FBISE board, and I'm currently maintaining an 8.74 GPA in my undergraduate degree in International Relations so I bring a strong academic foundation along with practical teaching experience. I specialize in Language and Social Studies subjects, having taught at two local academies: Star Academy and Malir Academy, where I focused on History and Languages along with private tutoring. Having studied as an APS student myself, I have a strong, practical understanding of the Cambridge syllabus and how to teach it effectively. My approach focuses on identifying exactly where a student is struggling and building lessons around fixing that specific gap, and I've seen this translate into real results, including helping two students raise their grades from 70% to 85%. I care about helping students genuinely understand concepts rather than memorize them, and I bring the same structured, research-driven approach from my academic background into how I break down topics for my students.
