About Maryam R

Hello, Effective tutoring depends on the tutor, mode of teaching and the student. Some students thrive when taught concepts via PPT slides, others prefer a notes-taking method. And there are students who are oral-based, who after one session solidify their concepts by repeating them. I aim to meet the student halfway, understand the effective mode of teaching and tailor my teaching method accordingly. Every student has their strength and their weakness, it's important to identify them and ensure timely attention is given. My aim is to make sure that the student is willing to learn and ask questions, no matter if it is to repeat something, a previous concept they cannot connect with the current one, an abstract concept that seems illogical (which theoretical concepts at times are) or need help regarding their homework. I hope to ensure education becomes an worthwhile endeavour.
